WSET's Level 2 Award in Wines is a beginner- to intermediate-level qualification exploring wines, suitable for industry professionals and wine enthusiasts.

This qualification is intended for beginners wishing to learn about a wide range of wines or those seeking to build on the introductory knowledge gained with the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines. You’ll gain knowledge of the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence.

How environmental factors, grape-growing, winemaking and maturation options influence the style and quality of wines made from eight principal grape varieties:

Metodología del Curso

This qualification has a minimum requirement of 18 hours of in-person study time with Exploravid.

4 in-person sessions, 4 hours each, plus a 2 hour Zoom session

Evaluación

Assessment is by a closed-book exam of 50 multiple-choice questions.
Exam Duration: 60 minutes in person.
Exam dates and location are specified in the Calendar section.

Study materials, wine tasting in course, examination (one attempt), tuition and postage (inside Mexico).

All prices are in USD. It’s possible to pay in MXN according with the exchange rate published by Banco de México in the booking date.

A minimum of 6 students is required in order to carry out the course.
The student will get a 100% refund if the APP cancels.
