A beginner level introduction to wine suitable for those starting a wine career or pursuing an interest in wine.

For individuals new to wine study, this qualification provides a hands-on introduction to the world of wine. You’ll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately, and make food and wine pairings. Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin.

There are no restrictions on entry to the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines

Metodología del Curso

This qualification has a minimum requirement of eight hours of in-person study time with Exploravid.

2 days, 2 sessions, 4 hours each.
Examination at the end of the second session.

Evaluación

Assessment is by a closed-book exam of 30 multiple-choice questions.
Exam Duration: 45 minutes in person.
Exam dates and location are specified in the calendar section.

Incluye 

Study materials, wine tasting in course, examination (one attempt), tuition and postage (inside Mexico).

Examination will take place at the end of the course.

All prices are in USD. It’s possible to pay in MXN according with the exchange rate published by Banco de México in the booking date.

A minimum of 6 students is required in order to carry out the course.
The student will get a 100% refund if the APP cancels.
